The CEOâ€™s office shall:
(a) Be responsible for the day-to-day operations ofÂ the organization.
(b) Provide leadership to senior management andÂ staff.
(c) Prepare the annual budgets and establish properÂ internal controls.
(d) Be responsible for the execution andÂ communication of the Board’s strategies,Â decisions and policies.
(e) Develop and recommend to the Board theÂ annual business plans for the organization.
(f) Ensure that the organization has an effectiveÂ management structure including successionÂ plans.
(g) Ensure that all Board papers are accuratelyÂ written, are relevant and are availed to the BoardÂ members in good time.
(h) Serve as the link between the Board and theÂ Management.
(i) Be responsible for the achievement of theÂ objectives of the organizations.
(j) Put in place effective administrative structures,Â processes and systems.
(k) Provide regular, thorough and promptÂ communication to the Board on key technical,Â financial and administrative matters.
(l) Be responsible for stakeholder management andÂ the enhancement of the corporate image of theÂ organization.
